The KNIGHT-XV is an armoured vehicle and not a vehicle that has been uparmoured. This means that unlike most vehicles that are uparmoured after-market, the KNIGHT XV is manufactured as an armoured vehicle from the ground up using top-grade armouring materials.
With its distinct size, extraordinary security features and ultra-luxurious interior appointments, the KNIGHT XV provides one of the most unique vehicle ownership experiences in today's SUV marketplace.
The Knight XV engine is a Ford V10, 6.8-litre gas engine with E-85 Ethanol Conversion system added, (referring to as Flex Fuel engine) Flexible fuel vehicles (FFVs) are designed to run on gasoline or a blend of up to 85% ethanol (E85). Diesel engine also available as an option.

(5,454.55 kg) Tires: Four LT40X13.50R20 Mickey Thompson Baja Radial ATZ with ballistic run flats

The innovative and incomparable KNIGHT XV takes approximately 1,500 hours to hand build with precision craftsmanship and attention to detail that one can expect from a vehicle of this caliber.
Length: 240" (6096mm) Width: 92" (2337mm) Height: 100" (2540mm) Ground Clearance: 14" (355mm) Fuel tank: 40 gallons (US) (151Litres) Air conditioning: Factory Air conditioning in-cabin Vehicle armor: The KNIGHT XV's armouring level varies based each client's specific requirements

Quality Statement: We record and maintain full armour material traceability. All testing of armour plate, transparencies and composites is conducted in accordance with the highest quality control standards. Tests are performed at a range of 5 metres, using factory ammunition that has been weighed prior to firing to ensure that it meets the required norms.
The bullet is fired electronically through a military quality barrel with the projectile then passing through a chronograph beam to ensure that it meets the requirements of the ballistic testing standards. The armour-testing samples are maintained at an ambient temperature for 24 hours prior to testing. Samples are removed from each mill lot of armour plate prior to installation on a client's vehicle and are tested in accordance with the established norms. Upon satisfactory testing, a Certificate of Quality is issued for each sheet
Transparent armour: The ballistic glass used in the KNIGHT XV is manufactured only by the leading manufacturers of ballistic transparencies. Our team of designers and engineers work closely with the manufacturers of ballistic transparencies to ensure that the glass module meets the protection and tint level required. In addition, we ensure that the glass meets the requirements of our overlap armouring technique when it is combined with the installation of the opaque armour.
Opaque armour: Only the highest quality high strength steel, ballistic aluminium, composites, aramid and ceramics are used in the manufacturing of the KNIGHT XV's opaque armour, to meet or exceed established norms.
Doors: Due to the added weight of the transparent and opaque armour in doors, the door hinges are reinforced using a proprietary system to completely avoid hinge failure and prevent sheet metal fatigue around the hinge system.
Certifications: All of the armouring materials used on our KNIGHT XV vehicle have been certified by H.P. White Laboratory, Inc. (a highly regarded US independent ballistics testing laboratory).
The vehicle is built on a super duty specially modified F550 Ford chassis platform (making parts and service easily accessible globally).

SVXi: Mobile X-RAY System for Vehicles SVXi is a rapid deployment mobile vehicle x-ray inspection system suitable for vehicles up to a small van.
Mobile Unit for Flexible Deployment Designed for maximum flexibility, the SVXi can be mounted on a wide range of transportation from sophisticated multi-terrain vehicles to low cost motorised trailers. Once at it's destination it can be rapidly set up and operational.
Designed to meet the needs of security and customs personnel SVXi produces sub-millimetre resolution images of the vehicle in a single pass. The operator is able to control the scan and view the images from a remote notebook workstation. Sophisticated easy to use software allows the operator to zoom, pan and process the image to be able to make a rapid accurate assessment of any potential risk..
Thorough physical searches of vehicles can take anything up to 8 hours, and a similar time to rebuild the vehicle. The SVXi system allows staff to see inside the whole vehicle, even sealed units, quickly and without needing to touch the vehicle.
Smuggling and Terrorism SVXi can be deployed at key locations as required to combat smuggling and terrorism, or can be deployed for spot checks across an entire region.
FlatScan-TPXi is slotted into the POD to enable safe and reliable x-ray imaging of bags. If a suspect item is discovered elsewhere at the location the FlatScan-TPXi system can be removed from the POD and deployed as a portable inspection system.
Features Typical set up time 10 minutes Typical scan time 1 minute Real-time image on laptop screen Sub-millimetre image resolution Simple to use image processing Mobile system for flexible deployment
FlatScan-POD: High Resolution, Battery Operated, Mobile Baggage Scanning
FlatScan-POD is used in conjunction with FlatScan-TPXi as a high resolution mobile baggage scanning system. The mobile cabinet system can be readily transported to different locations for random baggage screening.
FlatScan-TPXi is slotted into the POD to enable safe and reliable x-ray imaging of bags. If a suspect item is discovered elsewhere at the location the FlatScan-TPXi system can be removed from the POD and deployed as a portable inspection system.
Flatscan-TPXi: Portable X-RAY Screening FlatScan-TPXi is a lightweight, portable, robust x-ray scanning system for security screening applications.
Ideal for use in suspect threat situations and is particularly suitable for security, military, police and customs applications.
Large Area, Thin Detector Panel for Speed and Safety The FlatScan-TPXi's large 535mm x 412mm imaging area enables the operator to scan typical bags and packages in a single scan, reducing the risk of revisiting the suspect item and repositioning the panel. The thin panel is designed to slip behind objects to avoid disturbance.
Smuggling and Terrorism Typically penetrating 26mm steel at 120kV and 28mm at 160kV the FlatScan-TPXi produces submillimetre images through IED's walls, vehicles, pipe bombs and many other applications.
High quality images and sophisticated image processing functions enable the operator to interpret the x-ray image quickly and accurately.
FlatScan-TPXi has been ergonomically and functionally designed to meet the needs of the field operative:
